Well Folks; it seems like just yesterday when you read this
"From me and the rest of the band, can you thank the fans and list members for their continuing support to S.A.H.B. We can go onto greater things."

That was about 9 years ago. At that time, I think that we were trying to keep things together and Martin Kielty suggested that one of us should go on line and let you guys know what was happening, let fans know that we were hopeful about the future and that you could expect us to carry on. What finally clinched it was when the four of us, together with Dean Ford of The Marmalade, got together, at Alec Downie's continued request, to contribute to the Frankie Miller tribute album (Alec had been e-mailing me for what seemed years.) Anyway, we’d just listened to our take of “Dancing in the Rain” and Annette, Frankie’s partner said “you guys sound amazing. Why aren’t you playing together?” I suppose we all looked at each other and thought, well, why aren’t we playing together?
Finding Max as a front man was a bonus and was what assured our carrying on. Never considered as a replacement for anyone he is a force in his own right. Who else is going to front these hooligans?
So, we've had some hairy moments over that last few years which I won't go in to. We've had some great gigs too but the thing is……… it seems to be getting better and better. Now I don’t want to get too effing schmaltzy about it but the other ingredient is all you guys & gals out there who keep on supporting us.
So here’s to you and all the new fans discovering SAHB and the legacy Alex left.
I still believe we can go onto greater things.
